Re:Born is the KLSH repair service designed to keep denim in motion.

This Re:Born Policy explains how the service works, which items may be eligible and how repair requests are handled.

1. What Re:Born is
Re:Born is a denim repair service.
Its purpose is to extend the life of denim products by evaluating wear, damage and repair possibilities.
Re:Born may include repairs such as:
- small fabric repairs;
- reinforcement;
- seam repair;
- pocket repair;
- crotch blowout repair;
- knee repair;
- patching;
- selected construction fixes, where technically possible.
The available repair depends on the item, damage, fabric condition and technical feasibility.
2. Eligibility
Re:Born may be available for selected denim items.
KLSH reserves the right to evaluate each request case by case.
A repair request may be refused if:
- the item cannot be repaired safely or properly;
- the fabric is too damaged or unstable;
- the requested repair is technically impossible;
- the item condition does not allow a durable result;
- the item is not suitable for the available repair process;
- the request is outside the scope of the Re:Born service.
3. How to request Re:Born
To request a Re:Born evaluation, contact:
Please include:
- full name;
- email address;
- order number, if the item was purchased from KLSH;
- product name, if known;
- clear photos of the full item;
- close-up photos of the damage;
- short description of the issue;
- any specific repair request.
Do not send the item before receiving instructions from KLSH.
4. Evaluation
Each Re:Born request is reviewed case by case.
KLSH may ask for additional photos or information before confirming whether the item can be accepted.
The initial evaluation based on photos is not a final guarantee that the item can be repaired. A final assessment may require physical inspection of the item.
5. Pricing
Re:Born may be a paid service unless a specific promotion or program condition applies.
If the repair is possible, KLSH may provide:
- repair description;
- estimated cost;
- estimated timing;
- shipping instructions;
- any limits or risks related to the repair.
The repair will proceed only after the customer accepts the proposed conditions, where applicable.
6. Shipping
Shipping instructions will be provided after the repair request has been reviewed.
Customers should not send items without prior approval.
Unless otherwise stated, shipping costs related to Re:Born may be paid by the customer.
KLSH is not responsible for items sent without authorization or without following the provided instructions.
7. Repair result
Denim repair is a physical process.
The final result may vary depending on:
- fabric condition;
- wash and color;
- age of the garment;
- type of damage;
- previous wear;
- previous repairs or alterations;
- technical limits of the repair.
A repair may be visible. This is part of the Re:Born logic: the product keeps its history while returning to use.
8. Limits of the service
Re:Born does not guarantee that every item can be restored to its original condition.
KLSH may refuse repairs that would create an unstable, unsafe, low-quality or misleading result.
Re:Born is not intended to erase all signs of wear. Denim carries its use. Repair keeps it moving.
9. Non-KLSH items
If Re:Born is made available for non-KLSH denim items, acceptance is still subject to evaluation.
KLSH may request additional information about fabric, construction and condition before accepting the item.
The acceptance of non-KLSH items is not automatic.
10. Items not collected or not accepted
If an item is received and later determined not to be repairable, KLSH will contact the customer with available options.
These may include:
- return of the item to the customer;
- alternative service proposal, if available;
- transfer to another KLSH circularity program, only if agreed with the customer.
Any related shipping costs may be charged to the customer, unless otherwise stated.
11. Legal guarantee
Re:Born is separate from the legal guarantee for defective or non-conforming products.
If your product is defective or does not conform to the order, please contact customer care and refer to the Legal Guarantee page.
