Back On Track Policy

Last updated: May 22nd 2026

Back On Track is the KLSH archive loop designed to keep denim in motion.

Any brand. Any condition. Still worth it.

This Back On Track Policy explains how the program works, which items may be eligible and how requests are handled.

1. What Back On Track is

Back On Track is a denim recovery and archive program.

Its purpose is to collect denim items and evaluate whether they can become part of the KLSH archive loop.

Depending on the item and its condition, denim may be considered for:

  • archive;
  • repair;
  • reuse;
  • study;
  • material recovery;
  • future creative or circularity projects;
  • the KLSH Vintage Vault, where applicable.

Back On Track is not a standard return service and is not a resale guarantee.

2. What items may be accepted

Back On Track may accept denim items of any brand and in any condition, subject to evaluation.

Items may include:

  • jeans;
  • denim shorts;
  • denim jackets;
  • denim shirts;
  • other denim garments, where suitable.

Acceptance is not automatic. KLSH reserves the right to evaluate each item case by case.

3. What “any condition” means

“Any condition” means that worn, damaged, faded, repaired, stained or heavily used denim may still be considered.

However, KLSH may refuse items that cannot be safely handled, stored, processed or evaluated.

Items may be refused if they are:

  • contaminated;
  • wet or moldy;
  • unsafe to handle;
  • affected by strong odors that cannot be managed;
  • damaged by substances that make handling unsafe;
  • not reasonably suitable for the program;
  • outside the scope of Back On Track.

Please make sure items are clean and dry before sending them.

4. How to request Back On Track

To request participation in Back On Track, contact:

customercare@klshjeans.com

Please include:

  • full name;
  • email address;
  • item type;
  • brand, if known;
  • size, if known;
  • clear photos of the full item;
  • close-up photos of relevant wear, damage, repairs or details;
  • short description of the item and its condition.

Do not send items before receiving instructions from KLSH.

5. Evaluation

Each Back On Track request is reviewed case by case.

The initial evaluation may be based on photos and information provided by the customer.

A final assessment may require physical inspection of the item.

KLSH may accept, refuse or redirect the item to another available service or program, where appropriate and agreed with the customer.

6. Shipping

Shipping instructions will be provided after the request has been reviewed.

Customers should not send items without prior approval.

Unless otherwise stated, shipping costs related to Back On Track may be paid by the customer.

KLSH is not responsible for items sent without authorization or without following the provided instructions.

7. What happens after acceptance

If an item is accepted into Back On Track, KLSH may decide how to process it within the archive loop.

Depending on the item, this may include:

  • archive classification;
  • repair or restoration evaluation;
  • material study;
  • reuse in future projects;
  • inclusion in the Vintage Vault, where applicable;
  • other circularity or creative uses consistent with the program.

KLSH does not guarantee that every accepted item will be repaired, resold, archived publicly or used in a specific project.

8. Ownership and transfer

Before accepting an item, KLSH will communicate the applicable conditions.

Depending on the program structure active at that time, participation may involve transferring the item to KLSH.

If ownership transfer is required, it will be confirmed before the item is finally accepted into the program.

Do not send items unless you agree with the conditions communicated by KLSH.

9. Rewards, credits or benefits

Back On Track may include rewards, credits, discounts, promotional benefits or other incentives only when expressly stated.

Any benefit may depend on:

  • active promotions;
  • item type;
  • item condition;
  • program availability;
  • evaluation result;
  • customer eligibility.

No reward, credit or benefit is guaranteed unless confirmed by KLSH in writing.

10. Items not accepted

If an item is not accepted after evaluation, KLSH will contact the customer with available options.

These may include:

  • return of the item to the customer;
  • alternative service proposal, if available;
  • responsible disposal or material recovery, only if agreed with the customer;
  • no further action if the item was sent without authorization.

Any related shipping costs may be charged to the customer, unless otherwise stated.

11. Difference from returns

Back On Track is not a return, refund or exchange process.

If you want to return a product purchased on klshjeans.com, please read our Returns & Refunds Policy.

If your product is defective or non-conforming, please read our Legal Guarantee page.

12. Difference from Re:Born

Back On Track is the archive loop.

Re:Born is the repair service.

Some items submitted through Back On Track may be suitable for repair, but Back On Track does not automatically include a repair service unless confirmed by KLSH.

13. No greenwashing claims

Back On Track is based on practical denim recovery, archive and reuse logic.

KLSH does not claim that every item will be recycled, resold, repaired or transformed.

The specific path of each item depends on evaluation, condition, technical feasibility and program availability.

14. Customer care

For Back On Track requests, contact:

customercare@klshjeans.com

Please include photos and as much information as possible so we can evaluate the item properly.
