1. What the legal guarantee covers

The legal guarantee applies when a product is defective or does not conform to the contract of sale.

A product may be considered non-conforming if, for example:

  • it does not match the description provided on the product page;

  • it has a manufacturing defect;

  • it is not suitable for the normal use of products of the same type;

  • it does not have the qualities or performance normally expected from a product of the same type.

2. What the legal guarantee does not cover

The legal guarantee does not cover issues caused by:

  • normal wear and tear;

  • incorrect use;

  • accidental damage;

  • incorrect washing or care;

  • failure to follow care instructions;

  • unauthorized alterations or repairs;

  • damage caused by external factors;

  • natural evolution of denim caused by regular use, washing, fading, creasing or friction.

Denim changes with wear. Fading, creasing, softening, friction marks and surface evolution may be part of the normal life of the fabric and are not automatically considered defects.

3. Hemmed items and defects

Hemmed items are customized according to the customer’s requested inseam and cannot be returned or exchanged under the standard return policy.

However, hemmed items remain covered by the legal guarantee in case of product defects or lack of conformity.

If the issue is caused by incorrect measurements provided by the customer, it is not considered a product defect.

4. How to report a defect

If you believe your product is defective or non-conforming, contact:

Please include:

  • order number;

  • product name;

  • description of the issue;

  • clear photos of the defect;

  • photos of the full product;

  • photo of the care label or product label, if useful.

We may ask for additional information to assess the issue.

5. Assessment

Each claim is reviewed case by case.

We may need to inspect the product before confirming whether the issue is covered by the legal guarantee.

Please do not send products back before receiving instructions from KLSH.

6. Remedies

If the product is confirmed as defective or non-conforming, we will provide a remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Depending on the case, remedies may include:

  • repair;

  • replacement;

  • price reduction;

  • refund.

The available remedy may depend on the nature of the defect, product availability, timing and proportionality of the solution.

7. Shipping costs for confirmed defects

If the product is confirmed as defective or non-conforming, KLSH will cover the necessary return shipping costs or provide an equivalent solution.

If the issue is not covered by the legal guarantee, return shipping costs may remain the responsibility of the customer.

8. Relationship with returns

The legal guarantee is different from the right of withdrawal.

The right of withdrawal allows eligible customers to return a product within the legal withdrawal period, subject to the Returns & Refunds Policy.

The legal guarantee applies when a product is defective or non-conforming.
